On Entire and Analytic Functions of the Matrices AB and BA

Abstract
‎The relation $z^{q}\chi_{AB}(z)=z^{p}\chi_{BA}(z)$ holds for the characteristic polynomials of complex matrices $A_{p\times q}$ and $B_{q\times p}$‎. ‎In the present paper‎, ‎we generalize this relation for‎ "‎complex polynomials"‎, "‎entire functions,‎" ‎and some‎ "‎analytic functions‎" ‎of AB and BA‎. ‎Some examples are also provided‎.
